Glamorgan Guild of Weavers Spinners & Dyers

Come and see the Glamorgan Guild and the Tawe Guild of Weavers Spinners & Dyers at the Vale Show, we will be giving demonstrations of weaving, spinning and  braidmaking. Come and have a go at braidmaking! The Glamorgan Guild and the Tawe Guild are getting together again for this years  Vale of Glamorgan Show  at Fonmon Castle on Wednesday 10th August 2016.  We will be giving demonstrations of Spinning, Weaving and Braiding, so come along and see us and have a go at some of the wonderful crafts!   Fonmon Castle Park, near Cardiff Airport CF62 3ZN                 Directions on how to get there

Ann Fox : Weaving Diploma with Janet Phillips At our meeting on  Thursday evening, A nn Fox will be talking about her experiences on how she successfully gained a Weaving Diploma with Janet Phillips.    Evening Talk: Patchwork   Apr 14, 2016 In our meeting this evening, the Glamorgan WSD are pleased to welcome Doreen Barnaville to talk to us about her Patchwork and her personal research at St Fagans.   The talk will take place at The Kynance Hall, Dinas Powys CF64 4DT at 7:30pm this evening, all are welcome.   Entrance fee for visitors will be £5 payable on arrival.
