Glamorgan Guild of Weavers Spinners & Dyers

This year we are celebrating our 40th Anniversary!  To mark the occasion we are holding an exhibition of our members work at the   Old Hall, High Street Cowbridge CF71 7AH  from the 5th -  29th June 2018.   The Exhibition intends to illustrate the importance of preserving our ancient making traditions. So please come along and have a look at what has inspired us to make a wide range of things from yarn and fibre!  On Saturday 16th June we are holding a 'have a go day' at The Old Hall, so please come along and have some fun having a go at spinning, inkle weaving, weaving, braid-making  its a great way to meet new friends and become a maker.

Our next event is our open workshop and stash sale this Saturday 19th May at  Murchfield Community Centre, Sunnycroft Lane, Dinas Powys, Vale of Glamorgan, CF64 4QQ.  10am - 4pm.  The stash or destash sale also includes any equipment that you would like to sell too!
