Evening Talk: Patchwork Apr 14, 2016 In our meeting this evening, the Glamorgan WSD are pleased to welcome Doreen Barnaville to talk to us about her Patchwork and her personal research at St Fagans. The talk will take place at The Kynance Hall, Dinas Powys CF64 4DT at 7:30pm this evening, all are welcome. Entrance fee for visitors will be £5 payable on arrival. We look forward to meeting you and enjoying an informative evening with Doreen.
September Meeting
Our next meeting is on 11th September at Kynance Hall in Dinas Powys. Members are invited to bring items to our Show and Tell - either made by themselves or ones they consider interesting such as an antique textile or an unusual piece they own. April Meeting!
Our next meeting is on Thursday 10 th April and is a talk entitled: ' Batik: The People Behind the Cloth ' with Jim & Diane Gaffney This will start at 7:30pm in Kynance Hall, Dinas Powys (rear of Methodist Hall). Diane and Jim run Textile Traders , a business focussed on hand made textiles from Asia, and we look forward to having them visit us. It promises to be an interesting evening. Visitors welcome! Please contact us for any information about the evening or any of our future events.
Next Workshop - November
Our next workshop date has changed to the 16th of November - all spaces are now fully booked! Emails have been sent out to those who have booked, reminding them of the items they need to bring on the day. Please remember to bring your outstanding fees for the workshop. If you are a guild member you can still attend the day and not take part in the workshop - just bring yourself and something else to work on!
